In this article, we explain how we created a luxury fabric bag for cosmetics for a well-known Italian company producing facial cosmetics and body oils based on natural ingredients and thermal water.
Case summary: a high-quality luxury fabric bag entirely Italian
The client, a reputable Italian manufacturer of skincare and personal care cosmetics, contacted us to inquire about the possibility of creating made-to-measure packaging.
They had already noticed a product abroad they liked in terms of shape and tone but declined the purchase because they also desired better quality and consistent support.
They therefore turned to us asking if it was possible to “replicate” the desired bag’s shape, but using a durable textile, more attractive both visually and to the touch — preferably certified — capable of enhancing the product inside and the brand’s elegance.
Our proposal: a luxury bag to add value to the cosmetics and brand
After the client expressed their needs, we began formalizing some ideas. We listened carefully to all their requirements — including the desire to use high-end Italian-made materials — and presented several drafts.
We collaborated closely with the client to refine the bag design, carefully evaluating every detail: from dimensions to material durability, from fabric colors to the possibility of screen printing a logo (or embossing it directly on the fabric).
From this creative brainstorming, we ultimately developed the perfect packaging for the client’s needs: a faux leather bag with a drawstring closure.
Faux leather to enhance a luxury brand
For the material choice, we opted for an eco-friendly faux leather bag, very similar to eco-leather. Its characteristics? A textile that is very soft, delicate, pleasant to the touch, as well as durable and easy to handle.
An eco-conscious material that can communicate a sustainable choice and meet the growing demand from customers for environmentally friendly products, while at first glance expressing elegance and beauty. This was precisely what the client wanted.
Small quantities, maximum quality
When asked about producing the bag in limited quantities without sacrificing quality, we did not hesitate. At Sacchetti di Tessuto, quality is essential: we reassured the client by recalling our values.

Together with the client, we chose the dimensions, the material (easy to clean and that prevents leaks or product residue), functionality (ideal for carrying in a handbag or as a pouch to pack in luggage), and focused heavily on aesthetics.
After defining all details, we agreed to produce a bag in off-white faux eco-leather with a matching inner chiffon lining to provide extra protection for the products placed inside.
The closure, a drawstring with two cords, is also made of faux leather, with crafted and finished ties — a feature that enhances the packaging and makes it original.
The logo was finally applied with hot foil embossing (using pressure with a metal stamp), offering a refined, tone-on-tone effect.
What did we achieve? A product meticulously detailed. We created a bag prototype which we then sent to the client. This step is fundamental because it allows careful evaluation of any modifications needed before giving the green light for production.

Once authorized, we produced 200 luxury bags. We delivered the order within 5 days, ensuring client support and collaboration throughout the entire project.
