The company Officina Naturae – which has relied on us at Sacchetti di Tessuto since 2018 for the production of the bags used to package its natural products – has launched a new line: the CO.SO solid cosmetics. For this occasion, they asked us to create a CO.SO Saving Shower Glove. It is a bag designed to be kept in the shower, made from 100% natural hemp fibers, intended to hold the leftover pieces of solid cosmetics – avoiding waste – or to carry CO.SO cosmetics always with you.

Officina Naturae is an Italian company that has been producing natural cosmetics and detergents for over 15 years. Rigorous in its selection of ingredients and materials, since 2018 it has chosen our sustainable, ecological, and plastic-free fabric packaging for the cosmetics and beauty sector: ecological pouches, which we weave in our fabric bag factory using natural materials and Made in Italy standards.
Renewed trust: Officina Naturae commissions us to create a CO.SO Saving Shower Glove
Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, face cleansers, solid deodorants: the products in the CO.SO line are not soaps but genuine solid and plastic-free cosmetics, as they are not contained in traditional glass or plastic bottles, but resemble soap bars and hang by a soft hemp cord. Over time, the CO.SO cosmetics – precisely because they are solid – tend to crumble. How can we avoid wasting the precious and useful leftover pieces? Hence Officina Naturae’s request: to create a bag in soft natural fabric to contain them, to keep in the shower. Based on the prototype sent by the client, we refined the idea by producing a CO.SO Saving Shower Glove.
The solution: a shower glove in hemp and terry cloth
We started from Officina Naturae’s instructions and jointly designed with the client a pure hemp bag for soaps to be used as a shower glove.
The bag is very practical, small in size, with a handle – to hang it in the shower or bathtub – and a strap through which to slip your hand, transforming the bag into a sponge. The result is a soft fabric container that instantly becomes a comfortable glove. Inside the bag, it is possible to store a solid CO.SO cosmetic or its leftovers, to preserve and use them until they are completely finished.
To wash, simply insert all CO.SO pieces inside the pocket, wet the bag, and rub it on the skin until a soft foam emerges from the fibers. There is no risk of irritation because hemp is a natural and very soft fabric.
After use, the bag can be left to air dry or washed by hand or in a washing machine at 30-40 degrees.
Not only suitable for home use, the CO.SO Saving Shower Glove can also be used to carry CO.SO cosmetics with you, in your suitcase, handbag, or at the beach.
