At Sacchetti di Tessuto, we produce custom fabric bags for events, made to measure to meet every need and requirement. We use the finest fabrics available on the market, especially Made in Italy materials, and each product is crafted with extreme care to make it unique and original.

We work across various sectors, from fashion to food, and also produce sturdy fabric bags for e-commerce sellers or those operating in the luxury sector. One of our strengths is ensuring fast production while maintaining careful and thorough attention, offering total customisation of the bag in terms of colours, materials, and sizes. For us, the quality of the final product is as important as customer satisfaction.

Fabric bags for events: customisation and fast delivery

We handle all types of packaging for stores, events, and e-commerce sales.

In this article, we explain how we managed to complete a large order in a short time, without errors or impact on product quality. The occasion? The opening of new stores for a well-known Italian brand operating in the cosmetics and beauty industry.

The case in brief: 100,000 custom fabric bags to launch new stores for a well-known cosmetics chain

We were contacted by a promotional agency asking if we could produce fabric bags for their important Italian client who manufactures and distributes cosmetics and personal care products.

Soon, the company would be opening new stores in Italy, and their aim was to conduct promotional launches with a set of cosmetics and related products to present in the new stores for the occasion.

Their requirements were clear from the start: speed in production (delivery within one month), precision, and Italian production using high-quality materials.

This was a challenge we gladly accepted and adapted to ensure efficient and high-quality production as expected.

Our proposal: careful planning and scheduling

When the agency requested full delivery within one month, we explained that while speed was not an issue for us, producing a quality product would require more time, at least an additional month.

We therefore worked on a solution that met the client’s needs without disappointing their expectations, proposing a realistic delivery plan scheduling an initial batch—equal to 20% of the order—to be completed in 20-25 days (to satisfy the initial demands), with subsequent shipments in the following months.

The client approved our proposal, so we immediately started the production process, beginning with fabric sourcing and colour selection.

    Fabric selection and colour matching

Our first focus was on selecting the fabric. The client already had some ideas, so we sent a range of samples for them to see and feel up close. This allowed the client to verify whether the textures and colours met their expectations.

Once the suitable fabric was chosen—a medium-weight, robust yet soft, optical white cotton drillwe focused on the details. Each bag had to be paired with a small ribbon.

Again, we sent the client samples (satin and standard cords), assisting them in selecting the best option. However, the client’s need extended beyond finding the right material—they also required the perfect colour reflecting the brand’s shades. Unfortunately, the desired hue was not available in our catalogue at the time. We did not stop at the obstacle: we asked one of our trusted Italian suppliers if it was possible to obtain a specific shade of fuchsia. We succeeded.

After defining the colours and fabrics, we chose the desired printing method for the bag, verifying multiple graphic proofs to fine-tune both logo colours and size. This way, we developed the perfect fabric bag for the client.

    Sampling and production start

Before starting full production, we sent a couple of finished bag samples for final approval. This allowed the client to check whether the bag met their needs or required modifications. The product was immediately well received, and once approved, we began making the bags.

To meet the agreed delivery times, we acted immediately, involving all our internal resources and recruiting new ones for additional support. We activated an additional screen printing department and a new sewing team, managing to deliver the order in a total of 2 months (instead of the planned 6/7 months), while maintaining the full quality of raw materials and craftsmanship. The client was pleased with the received bags, expressing great satisfaction.

“This was a challenging order involving all our resources. We committed to ensuring the client received the fabric bags in time for the grand opening of their new physical stores, without ever compromising product quality and craftsmanship. It is essential for us to deliver bags without defects, with secure, clean stitching and smudge-free graphics. I can say that the ‘stress test’ of our system was excellently passed.” Alessandro Mainardi, CEO and founder of Sacchetti di Tessuto
