SparkFabrik is an Italian company specializing in the development of Cloud solutions. After an initial positive collaboration with Sacchetti di Tessuto a few years ago, in 2022 they decided to contact us again to create a new fabric packaging for their return to trade fairs after two years of interruption due to the pandemic.
Who SparkFabrik Is
SparkFabrik is an Italian company that designs and develops Cloud-Native applications and Cloud systems and infrastructures using the latest DevOps techniques, with the mission to "Create the most stimulating place where talented people, through cutting-edge technologies, can guide customers in the transition to the cloud-native era."
At their headquarters in Milan you won't find just passionate developers, but true multilingual professionals: Cloud and DevOps engineers, strategists, and designers.
For many years they participated in industry trade fairs to convey their passion for their work to the public and achieve their mission, but had to stop in 2020 due to Covid-19.
After almost two years of forced pause due to the health emergency, they decided to make a grand return to public events, seeking our collaboration.

Sacchetti di Tessuto and SparkFabrik have been longtime partners because a few years ago we created this practical sporty shoulder bag in mesh fabric for them.
The mesh fabric, being perforated and breathable, is suitable for holding wet clothes or towels when going to the beach, mountains, or pool. It can be washed directly in the washing machine.
Customized with the brand’s logo and colors, this bag became an original corporate gadget, which SparkFabrik greatly appreciated for its uniqueness.

The Request: Fabric Packaging for Their Return to Trade Fairs
As mentioned, after a break from public events due to the pandemic, for their return to trade fairs SparkFabrik decided to focus on an unconventional gadget that could differentiate them with style yet also be useful and sustainable.
After extensive brainstorming, they came to a solution that had always been right under their noses: what they needed was a new natural fabric packaging!
Cotton shoppers are timeless items that add value to corporate branding campaigns. Buoyed by the experience with the mesh bag, they realized that the feeling of seeing their brand moving through city streets—carried on the shoulder of those who chose it, visited their booth, or listened to them during a talk—was indescribable.
Once they decided on this direction, they were not familiar with the types of materials on the market in terms of quality, availability, and durability. So they reached out to us for assistance in producing, on a tight schedule, a fully custom fabric bag that could represent the company’s image.
The Solution: The Canvas Cotton Pouch
After listening to SparkFabrik’s requirements, we worked diligently to deliver fabric packaging quickly, as the fairs were just around the corner.
The result? This elegant canvas cotton pouch, with an original and refined appearance, equipped with a zipper closure and handle for easy carrying. The use of white and red colors combined with the logo print fully represented the company’s image.
How We Created the Canvas Pouch
To understand the company’s needs, we showed them photos of available tote bags and after a series of questions, we were able to jointly define the shape (a pouch, as mentioned), size, and handle length.
We also discussed the fabric weight, opting for cotton canvas which, due to its characteristics, seemed to be the perfect fiber for the purpose: heavy and durable, 100% ecological natural cotton, and customizable with printing techniques that last over time.
We realized that our clients placed great importance on fiber origin. We therefore enthusiastically proposed our selection of Made in Italy fabrics while discouraging imported variants, which in our view would have deviated from the communication and branding objectives SparkFabrik shared with us at the start of the process.
We then defined the print area and provided a mock-up suggesting how to adapt the logo to the pouch to achieve the best possible appearance and visibility.

The canvas pouch was fully approved by the company, which used it as a trade fair gadget, enhancing it with leaflets inside.
