It looks like an ordinary paper bag but it is not… it is a bag made with Jacroki! An innovative and eco-friendly material made from cellulose and natural fibers that resembles paper but is actually closer to a fabric bag.
Patented a few years ago, Jacroki is a more sustainable alternative compared to many commonly used materials for manufacturing bags, such as paper and plastic.
It is composed of natural fibers and recycled paper fibers, boasts highly ecological properties, and is durable. In fact, despite its paper-like appearance, it has the properties and mechanical strength of a traditional fabric.
Jacroki is exactly that: a new, green material capable of giving packaging an attractive and exclusive look thanks to its uniqueness.
Jacroki: packaging you wouldn’t expect
Jacroki is a cellulosic material certified FSC®. It looks like a sheet of paper but is more robust because it can undergo various types of embossing, withstand washing - it can be washed up to 60° or dry cleaned! - as well as tearing and stitching, just like classic fabric.
It is also ecological, mainly composed of cellulose (the primary component of plant fibers) and other natural fibers. In some versions, it can be produced with the addition of recycled paper waste and latex, then customised in various specific solutions for different uses.
Jacroki is therefore a highly versatile material, ideal as green fabric packaging for companies seeking more sustainable solutions for their brand. Originally designed for packaging labels used in clothing, thanks to its versatility, it can also be used in other sectors beyond its original application.
It comes in two different thicknesses - 0.30mm and 0.55mm - and is available in three versions:
- Racy: the material has a paper-like appearance and produces a “crisp” sound when touched and folded.
- Soft: the material still looks like paper but is softer, and the sound is comparable to that of classic fabric.
- Shine: it has a glossy appearance and is very soft, like leather.
The average composition of a Jacroki bag includes:
- 4-6% moisture
- 0.5-3% non-allergenic pigments and other additives
- 9-26% synthetic binders
- 65-86.5% cellulose fibers
The “paper in fabric” with great versatility
Jacroki is a material that looks like paper but is better identified as fabric and, like fabric, has great versatility. Therefore, it is ideal for customising bags and is preferable to common paper bags.
Here are some ideas to combine size, colors, shapes, and materials to create the perfect Jacroki bag for your company.
Dimensions, shapes, and colors
A small bag to slip into a pocket, a clutch, or a shopper? Depending on the products you sell, you can choose the size and shape that best fits the size of your items.
Color is also important: white, chamomile, natural, red, blue, black.
You can select the shade that best represents you, your brand colors, or vary the colors depending on the season! For example, you could use Jacroki fabric bags in gold or silver at Christmas, red for Valentine’s Day, black for Black Friday, and so on.
Logo printing
Once color and shape are chosen, you can also customise your Jacroki bag with your logo. The material supports various printing techniques, from digital to hot foil stamping, but we recommend screen printing, which transfers color onto the material using a frame.
Don’t want to print the logo? No problem, you can also imprint an image or slogan, and if you want to make the bag truly unique and inimitable, you can choose to embellish it with embroidery: a more refined alternative to printing that enriches the bag’s surface with a slight raised effect.
Final accessories
Finally, to add the finishing touch. You can customise your Jacroki bag with a zip closure, twist tie, drawstring, or cotton ribbons. You can choose a short or long handle, a shoulder strap, or a rigid handle…
With a bit of creativity, the options are truly endless!
Jacroki: from fashion to cardboard manufacturing, a material suitable for various sectors
Eco-friendly and available in various shapes and colors, it can be washed and customised.
Jacroki has everything needed to be used as packaging across different sectors: from furniture to cosmetics, leather goods to luxury brands, fashion to cardboard manufacturing. This type of bag is highly appreciated by both producers and end consumers, especially those who care about the environmental impact of the products and packaging they purchase.
An example of how you can use it for cosmetic products?
Here is a fabric pouch with a paper effect.

It has a zip closure and a sewn loop on one side. It can be used as fabric packaging for cosmetics, bottles, creams, makeup bags, and can be easily stored in a handbag, suitcase, or drawer without taking up much space.
Alternatively, you can use small Jacroki bags to protect jewelry and small items, or a larger packaging to contain shirts, shoes, bags, and other leather goods.
And that is not all: this “fake paper” material can also be used not only as packaging but also as a true bag with an “uncommon” look for outings with friends or - why not - for going to the beach.
Its refined and distinctive appearance lends itself well to every sector and context: from rustic or vintage styles to luxury brands.
The strengths remain its unique look and sustainability. This latter quality will make Jacroki packaging appreciated even by the new ecological consumer, who is demanding and attentive.
